Not snowing here yet

Air temperature 29 F, wind northeast about 5 mph, cloudy. Snow showers supposed to arrive around 9 AM and change to rain later. Maybe I'll take the hint and go finalize our new snowblower purchase. Old one runs fine, but it's sorta like a lifeboat. Fifteen years of valiant service, replace it before it fails . . .

Real estate follies

House across town looks nice, price tag $600,000 plus when originally listed. Week after listing, cut the price $100,000. This week, cut another $50,000. Rushing to sell before the bank takes it back? Divorce settlement? Idle curiosity wants to know . . .
