Air temperature 49 F at the airport up from 46 overnight, wind near calm, clear sky. Trash out. Will probably try for that deferred bike ride this morning. Inspirational joggers out before the sun.

Situational wimp

Okay, I'm waiting for the world to warm up before heading out on the bike. Currently 61 F at the airport. In the spring, I'd call that warm . . . .

Friday ebbing season report

No new flowers spotted. Purple loosestrife going to seed, which lets the purple asters stand out better. A few of the cattail heads are sprouting fluff. A few more early maple leaves turning.

No roadkill spotted, also no not-roadkill.

Only metal bird of interest was a KC135 in the visitors' parking, looked to be regular Air Force rather than a National Guard unit.

Rode across town and back, bit of a breeze and temperature mid-70s F. Did not die.
