Air temperature 61 F, light north wind, scattered fog. Foraging run scheduled, after postponement yesterday. Onward into another day and month and year.

Wednesday roadkill report

Gray and white blob in the middle of the road about two blocks into my ride, I thought it was squirrel but when I got closer there was too much dead lump there. Someone's gray and white kitty isn't coming home from its night out. Also, couple of actual squirrels dead on the rest of my route.

First butter-and-eggs positive ID on my floral list, also a probable new goldenrod. Much more purple loosestrife pursuing its plan of world domination.

Changed plans, got out on the bike rather than foraging. KC135 taking off when I biked past the end of the runway, C17 parked in the visitors' lot. If the USAF wants OpSec, they shouldn't park right next to a public road. Thence home. Did not die.
