Saturday floral report
Aug. 12th, 2023 01:52 pmMore asters, more daisies, more of the damned purple loosestrife. Some of the feral apple trees are showing red on their fruit and even dropping excess. Some of the less-healthy maples have red or yellow leaves. Oaks shedding acorns. Onward toward the end of summer.
No fresh roadkill to report.
Got out on the bike, downriver past the point where I turned off last week and onward into lands yet new. Which include a road that really needs some work. Back into town past a house where I worked on major renovations decades ago, and which looked abandoned when I did the same loop last year. Looks occupied and under further renovations now. Did not die.
