Thursday floral report
Aug. 3rd, 2023 11:41 amFirst asters seen, mid-size pale purple, advance scouts of autumn. Also all the usual mid-summer suspects continue to bloom -- goats'-beard, chicory/cornflower, vetch, white sweet clover, goldenrod . . . and the damned purple loosestrife.
No roadkill. Saw the goose family at the cemetery pond, count of eight plus/minus, but I would have to stop to get accurate. Which is contrary to policy.
Got out on the bike again, mid 60s F when I headed out and mid 70s now, breeze off and on. Did not die.
