Air temperature 65 F, south wind about 3 mph, fog at the airport, hazy sunshine here. Supposed to get up above 80 F later. Bike ride before?

Sunday roadkill report

Midsize brown lump on the other side of the road, signs consistent with an adult beaver. This was in a wooded stretch near the bog, but no streams or ponds that I know about. They do go wandering in search of new aspens to conquer. Also, a few gray squirrels flattened across the asphalt.

Floral report pretty much same-same, with more tansy along some sections of road and the same Canada lilies that I reported before. Lots of vetch and hop-clover and rabbit-clover and trefoil right next to the road.

Got out on the bike, temperature mid-70s when I headed out, but I decided against trying to stretch out the miles. I was damp enough when I got home. Did not die.
