Wednesday floral report
Jul. 19th, 2023 12:51 pmProbable Canada lily in a tangle of wild roses out by the cemetery, large brilliant yellow flowers but native rather than a feral. I don't think I've seen one before. Also, the usual cornflower and goatsbeard and vetch and birdsfoot. Governments have been mowing my botany zones.
Maybe woodchuck flattened up by the golf course, ID tentative but no quills or stink.
Got out on the bike, hot and humid and AQI deteriorating into the "moderate" zone. Did not strive for speed. Did not die.
