Gray eternity

Air temperature 69 F, wind south about 7 mph, visibility 2/3 mile in fog at the airport. Can see across the park, but not the radio antenna lights beyond the Interstate. Damp. Supposed to go partly cloudy this afternoon.

Brains are strange places

For some reason buried deep in the subconscious, my drowsing dream in the predawn was a riderless horse in the park across our street. Saddle, bridle, reins and all, and I was in charge of keeping it in place until Animal Control could show up.

I have not had any dealings with equines in over 60 years.
