The damp continues
Air temperature 64 F, wind south about 6 mph, cloudy with patchy fog. AQI 31, so the Canadians haven't managed to kill us with their poison gas attack. Yet.

Expecting perfection from politicians, or people in general, is the path to disappointment. Even Mary Poppins was only practically perfect.
Wednesday missed-me-by-that-much report.
Cornflower/chicory blooming, brown-eyed Susans, water parsnip, and I may have seen a half-opened water lily in the cemetery pond.
Roadkill limited to a couple of gray squirrels, a probable crow, and another of those maybe chipmunk/maybe red squirrel red-fur blotches. Not-roadkill, two turkey vultures circling and looking for a thermal. And not finding one on this gray damp day.
Got out on the bike, mist and a few drops of rain, but I didn't get drenched. Rain started about 15 minutes after I got home. Raining now. Did not die. Ride takes me over 300 miles for the year, at least 100 miles behind where I would like to be. I'm blaming the weather, because it can't be age . . .
