Monday floral report
Jun. 19th, 2023 04:00 pmBedstraw by the roadside, curled dock, lupines filled out to the tip. Locust trees are shedding petals into fake snowdrifts. Some roses blooming, can't tell whether native or feral species through bicycle botany. Blue flags still hanging on.
Roadkill limited to small red squirrel or large chipmunk, belly up so I couldn't check for stripes. Did pass a bloodstain large enough for woodchuck or raccoon, but no corpse.
Not actually raining so I ignored some dark clouds and got out on the bike. Did not get caught in a shower, did not die.
