Raining again/still

Air temperature 51 F, wind west about 5 mph, light rain falling. Steady run of goldfinches at the thistle feeder, one or two at a time rather than a mob, with the occasional chickadee raid. Lawn crew did show up Monday, off schedule because of weather, so we don't look quite so jungly.

Chickadee bully

Both Wife and I have seen multiple aggressive maneuvers at the thistle seed feeder, a female goldfinch feeding and a chickadee driving it off. The feeder has four tiers of perches, total of 8, and seed available at 6. No way to tell if these are the same birds every time, some chickadee with a personal grudge . . .
