Waning moon risen

Air temperature 28 F, wind northwest about 10 mph, clear sky. Weather service claims we got 6" of snow here. I moved about 2" with the snowblower, except for the plow berm. I would like to thank the weather service for removing the other 4" when they were through with it.

Single hairy woodpecker working that old elm this afternoon. Or maybe I just didn't see the others. Still providing snacks, apparently.
