Air temperature 26 F, wind north about 8 mph, light snow or low cloud blocking my view of the radio towers. Nothing worth plowing or even shoveling, but we may postpone groceries until tomorrow just to avoid getting slop on the car.

Clot of emergency response equipment on one of the local streets, 3 or 4 fire trucks, a fire command car, and at least two police cruisers. People did not seem to be operating at emergency speed, though. Thus do my walks liven up the day.
