Air temperature 14 F, wind northwest about 7 mph, clear sky. There seems to be a worldwide "run" on hand-baskets, with demand exceeding supply.

Friendless morning walk

Louie was out and loafed up in a sheltered sunny spot, unwilling to abandon that and walk through snow for a few pets and scritches. I can understand -- air temperature 21 F and "feels like" 9F. We have entered into the season when you can tell at a glance what houses aren't active and what cars don't move.
