Air temperature 27 F, wind near calm, overcast. Rain forecast later. The city's diesel-powered vacuum cleaner started in on the leaf piles across the park at 0630, because they have promises to keep and miles to go before they sleep.
Some of the neighborhood folks have switched out their Thanksgiving decorations for Xmas already. Others still celebrate Halloween. Pumpkins continue to dissolve into slime.
Every time I hear a TV weather person say, "If you are out on the road, be careful" I think, "If you are out on the road, turn off the damned TV and pay attention to driving."
