Fall weather ebbing

Air temperature 33 F, wind near calm, clear sky. Weather-beans are now backing the rain off until later Monday night, so the goblins should stay dry.

Icy fog again

Ground fog -- could just about see the first trees in the park, but we're getting yellow glow from the low sun and blue sky overhead.

Undocumented

Several flocks of juncos and sparrows on my morning walk. Did not check their papers, but they probably crossed the border in an unofficial manner. Also, one of the roses over at the old house is still blooming.
