Thursday bonus report

Bald eagle soaring over the river when I headed out, too far away to tell if it was adult or youngster. Six ducks in that lawn "pond" from recent rains, may be our lazy locals that never do migrate. Defiant asters still blooming, attitude being "It hasn't snowed yet."
Warm, 66 F at noon, windy, so I climbed on the bike and navigated around swathes of wet leaves all innocent until you rely on them for friction. Did not die. Any ride might be the last.
