Air temperature 65 F, wind southeast gusting to 40 mph, light rain falling sideways. We'll keep an eye on the trash bin in case it decides to migrate. Weather supposed to keep up all day, with bouts of heavy rain to spice things up.
The city, in its infinite wisdom, has installed a permanent radar speed monitor down the street. Apparently rain and wind confuse it, flashing a warning to slow down even when there are no cars in range. I'm guessing wet leaves on the nearest tree.
We have ash trees out front. Some of them are bare now, after a brief stint in yellow, while others are still green. Different cultivars planted by the City Forester over the years.
