Wednesday boring report
Sep. 28th, 2022 01:09 pmRoadside flowers down to mostly asters at this point, masses of the large purple versions. Some patches of goldenrod still blooming, but mostly gone to seed. Red maples starting to turn in the uplands.
Flicker working the roadside ants as I headed out, probably a transient. Also transient, a flock of KC-135s and a C-17 in the visitors' parking lot out at the base. Those may be refugees from Hurricane Ian.
Warmed up, little wind, rode across town and over the hills and home. Did not die.
