Air temperature 52 F, wind north about 8 mph, mostly cloudy. Roads drying off, but more rain expected later this afternoon. People worship power and the trappings of power.

Small white asters along the back border are abuzz with bumblebees. Glad we left that as a jungle.

Resistance flora

I am, as every year, amused at the asters blooming below mower-blade height in the lawn.
