Air temperature 63 F, wind west about 7 mph, mostly cloudy. Getting up before the sun again. We got about 2.5" of rain out of that storm, bringing our total near "normal" for the year, but not well distributed.

Friday nothing report

First asters probable alongside the road near the old Town Farm, small white type. Otherwise, whole hells of goldenrod, Queen Anne's lace fading, even the purple loosestrife going to seed.

C-17 out at the airport/base, still another unit. Also, military transport helicopter that has to be a visitor, parked in the general aviation area.

Across town on the bike, sticky warm and unreliable clouds but I didn't get rained on. Also, did not die.
