Keep getting ads and junk email for Camp Lejeune lawsuit settlement. I was never a United States Baked Bean. I presume the scam here is, the more jarheads they get to sign up, the larger the lawyers' fee . . .

Rabbit-hole diving

Got enough information off a partial maker's mark on an old brass bucket or cauldron to say it was made between 1856 and 1888. Been in the family most of that time. We used it as a coal scuttle back in the olden times and to hold plant pots more recently. The internet has some value.
