Sunday killed-road report

Roadkill consisted of a couple of gray squirrels, a possible chipmunk, and a garter snake. And the road. This will be the last ride over this route for a month, with the DOT taking possession and replacing a box culvert. Official detour is awkward, involving either a bad road or the Interstate.

No new flowers, as such. A lot of chicory and goldenrod, and the be-damned purple loosestrife. And ragweed.

Got out on the bike, beat the heat, did not die.
