Sunday floral report
Jun. 26th, 2022 10:54 amBlue cornflower/chicory blooming by the roadside, nightshade, rabbits-foot clover, scentless chamomile, and a different color of roses out in the bog -- deep red, rather than pink and white.
Roadkill limited to a new-to-me porcupine just before my second crossing of the interstate, been there several days by the looks, and a gray squirrel and chipmunk.
Got out on the bike, local route rather than trying for distance. Too warm for more -- 82 F when I got home. Wife reminds me that this exercise is intended to improve my health and long-term survival, which precludes heat stroke. Did not die. Ride takes me over 400 miles for the year.
