Tuesday floral report

Nightshade blooming, crown vetch, and some kind of small sunflower that I can't ID from bicycle distance. Roses starting to bloom in the bog, defiant of last fall's mowing, and the first cattail spikes starting to show. A few blue flags lingering. Lupines going to seed.

No roadkill to report beyond a couple of splotches of fur that were most likely chipmunks that took a wrong turn at Albuquerque.

Got out on the bike, dodging some road construction. Yes, that part needs work. You're supposed to do that when I'm not trying to use the road. Did not die.
