Air temperature 51 F, wind south about 5 mph, scattered fog. Closest rain is off at the Quebec and New Hampshire borders, so I may be able to sneak a bike ride in after the world warms up a bit.

We now know that the iris bed we acquired with the house has yellow blooms. Quite attractive, if you don't think of them as actual iris . . .
