Air temperature 47 F, wind northwest about 6 mph, sunny sky. Areas in the Great North Woods report frost and even sub-freezing lows. May warm up enough for a bike ride this afternoon.

Wednesday floral report

First daisy-types blooming, too far off for positive ID. First phlox and peonies. Lots of spirea, rhododendron, buttercups, and yellow hawkweed. Tiny chickweed blooming at one of my stops. Lilacs lagging.

No roadkill logged. One car trying to become roadkill by running a red light in plain sight of God and man. It isn't paranoia if they really *are* trying to kill you.

Got out on the bike, across town and by the airport/base and home again. Did not die.
