Air temperature 27 F, wind southwest about 5 mph, sunrise now shining on the front of the house as we progress through the seasons. Hyacinths frost-bitten but some buds opening. Still haven't found any crocuses here.

Rites of spring again

Warmed up above 50 F so I got out on the mountain bike again. Still working into distance, about 6 miles this time. Will have to reset my estimates for the new home base, once I start using the road bike and its odometer. Ice out on the cemetery pond but no ducks or geese using the amenities.

Suitable for use?

Elder Son reports sighting a Lamborghini in the neighborhood. Me, I would wait beyond the end of mud season and spring potholes for that.
