What news from the Front?

Headed out on my morning walk, to be greeted by a mourning dove cooing.

Latest status report is that the building has been reduced to a pile of rubble in the cellar hole. The next house in from the intersection now has views and sunshine out its side windows that haven't been seen in 150 years.
