Air temperature 27 F, wind north about 10 mph, overcast. Showers and then rain supposed to move in late this afternoon, wiping away even more snow. Lot of bare grass showing.

Some people don't know

Came across a herd of robins on our way back from groceries. Wife thinks they may have cleaned out one patch of winterberries and were prospecting the bare fields out at the old State Hospital Contrary to popular opinion, we have robins all year.
