Air temperature 20 F, wind near calm, overcast. We're supposed to get above freezing today, back into the arctic tomorrow. Guess I'll spread some salt on the ice mounds the city left across the end of our driveway.
Combination of road salt, relative warmth, and an ice chisel allowed me to remove the city's gift on the end of our driveway. We could drive over it, but not something I wanted to deal with for another two months . . .
