We ambled around the bog boardwalk, admiring the fall color and feeling a little queasy on the floating parts. And got croaked at by a couple of ravens. Ambling back through the woods, we encountered a porcupine ambling in the other direction on the trail. We respected right-of-way, and I kept talking so it would know we were there -- porky has bad eyesight.
