One of the things about being Old is that I have seen too many lies and liars for me to take an unsupported claim at face value. If you tell me that it is raining, I'm likely to check the windows.

Sunday milestone report

Asters blooming, leaves starting to turn, gray squirrels smashed on the asphalt. Windy, cool. Major note of the ride, mileage over 1000 for the year.

Across town to the airfield, KC-135s and a C-130 parked, the tankers were local so I wonder what was taking their places up on the hardstands safe from snooping eyes. Did not die.
