Tuesday floral report
Sep. 14th, 2021 03:40 pmNo new species on the roadsides, but the showy purple asters are in full cry. A few of the ash trees have started to turn, with more red maples here and there.
Multiple squirrel corpses on the road, often in association with oak trees. Remember the fatal attractions, folks, food and sex.
Three C-17s out at the airfield, two KC-135s with a third doing patterns overhead. Guess the birds are still homing.
Rode across town and over the hills, cool but not chilly or particularly windy. Did not die.
