Air temperature 71 F, wind north about 8 mph, cloudy. Not a lot of rain here from "Fred" and the roads are drying off. May try to get a bike ride in. "Henri" not due until Monday evening or Tuesday.

Friday yucky report

More asters blooming, mid-sized pale purples joining the smaller pale and white versions. Goldenrod, goats-beard, and trefoil adding to the yellow. More purple loosestrife . . .

One roadkill mink, a bit over five miles into the ride. At that time, reasonably intact and suitable for a mink bikini starter kit. Probably less so by now.

Got out on the bike, air temperature 77 F and dew point 70, did not die. Ride takes me over 800 miles for the year.
