Sunday floral report
Aug. 1st, 2021 02:29 pmDefinite jewelweed today, lots of goldenrod and brown-eyed Susans, may have seen the first small white asters. Also lots of purple loosestrife, damned invasive alien. More thistles going to fluff. Also a couple of new patches of plastic flowers, usually meaning a fatal car accident at that point.
Minimal roadkill -- a couple of turtles bottom-side up, a gray squirrel, and the usual unidentified blood patches on the road.
Biked downriver to the next town, inland, and around to home again. Did not die.
