Saturday roadkill/floral report
Jul. 17th, 2021 01:33 pmOne woodchuck in the road out near the speedway, intact other than being, you know, dead. Usual unidentifiable patches of blood on the asphalt.
Spotted knapweed by the edge of one of my water stops, invasive alien weed but with attractive flowers. I've probably misidentified some of it as thistles -- same color and feathery petals. but no spikes.
Got out on the bike, downriver and inland and back past the airport/base. C-130 in the visitors' parking, gassing up. No tanker traffic. Thence home. Did not die.
