Thursday floral/roadkill report
Jul. 15th, 2021 11:41 amButter-and-eggs blooming, trumpet-vine, and moth mullein. Usual suspects continue, some of which I'm probably mis-identifying from bicycle botany.
Small garter snake, even smaller red-bellied snake, young red fox, and a couple of gray squirrels dead on the asphalt. Also a bloodstain at the top of a hill that could have been a deer or mid-sized mammal such as a raccoon or coyote.
Got out and bicycled through the soup, air temperature 79 F now and dew point 68. Did not die.
