Air temperature 57 F, wind south about 6 mph, mostly cloudy. Supposed to get into the 70s F today, 80s tomorrow, 90s by Monday. With humidity. Maine is the place people go to get away from this crap . . .

Friday floral report

Brown-eyed Susans, rabbits'-foot clover, and a probable thistle blooming. Curled dock seeds ripening, cattail flowers starting to open. Still a few lupines in the upland shade.

No roadkill to report, other than some of the roads. No interesting metal birds over at the base -- Luftwaffe has departed, taking their noise along with them to wherever their NATO training exercises exercise.

Damp, got drizzled and even a shower, but got out on the bike. Did not die. Ride takes me over 400 miles for the year.
