Sunday floral report
Jun. 20th, 2021 11:31 amVarious colors of day lilies blooming, earliest milkweed and latest lupines, whole swaths of crown vetch.
Mockingbirds singing at three points on my route, killdeer running across the road when I went to leave my water stop -- not calling or wing-dragging, so probably no youngsters or nest close by. And some large bird gliding across, either a vulture or an eagle, but I couldn't get positive ID.
No military metal birds out at the airport base. Couple of probable charters, Viva and Condor, passenger jets.
Got out on the bike, across town and back, did not die.
