Air temperature 53 F, wind southwest about 5 mph, light rain shower passing through. Should still be able to forage this morning. Bike ride afternoon is in doubt, though.

Rowan blossoms opening, adding their pollen to the general miasma that we call air this spring.

Definite red trillium, some kind of viburnum bush, wild calla, first rhodora, and chokecherry blooming. Wild honeysuckle starting to flower, lupine spikes forming but no blossoms yet.

No roadkill seen. Crossed another patch of green guck on the asphalt that probably means dead herbivore.

Wind gusting over 20 mph, temperature above 70 F, got out on the bike. Did not die.
