Sunday in limbo

Air temperature 47 F, wind southwest about 7 mph, cloudy. Will warmth arrive early enough for a morning bike ride? And what wind will bring it?

City acoustics

Well, a couple of C-130s have packed up their act and headed elsewhere. They'd been droning away at the airport/base for maybe half an hour. Which would be over 3 miles from here . . .

Possible glitch

I see news reports of countries shipping oxygen concentrators to India. I hope someone checks on power compatibility before loading up -- 230 V 50 Hz . . .

Multiple mockingbirds on the morning walk route, several within dueling-song range of each other. Much better sound than the C-130s.

Sunday floral report

Cuckoo flowers, bluets, early cress, and probable wild strawberries blooming. Also lots of tree pollen.

Couple of C-17s out at the visitors' parking lot, one warming up to leave.

No roadkill.

Got out on the bike, windy, temperature in the 60s F. Did not die.
