Gray and damp morning

Air temperature 45 F, wind northwest about 7 mph, overcast with some light sneaking in under the edge. Rained most of yesterday, off and on, and we needed it. Now the damned lawn will need mowing . . .

And so it begins

Mowed the lawn, first time for the whole thing. Minus the ritual patch of white violets that I leave unmowed long enough to set seed.
