Disappointment rain

Air temperature 45 F, wind northwest about 11 mph, mostly cloudy with rain on the radar. What we've gotten so far is just about enough to settle the dust. And pollen.

The world of things

Just hauled our old canoe out of the garage in hopes of selling it this afternoon to someone who will use it. It hasn't been in the water for decades, since the boys grew up.

And in the process of rinsing off the dust of the ages, I found out that the threads on our hose bib, being old and plastic, are too worn to hold the hose connector . . .
