Monday roadkill report
Apr. 19th, 2021 04:06 pmYes! It is the return of the ever-popular census of deceased critters along our local roads! In this case, an adult raccoon at about 3.7 miles into my local ride loop, looked like it had lain there for a few days. Don't know why the cleanup crew has spurned it. Not-roadkill, two geese at the cemetery pond again. No idea if that is the same pair as before.
Weeping willows leafing out, slight haze of green on the tamaracks in the bog, red maples showing blossoms. Spring advances, with regression.
15.26 miles, 1:21:59, by which precision astute observers may deduce that I have switched to the road bike with its accessory computer.
