Another cold dawn

Air temperature 5 F, wind west about 5 mph, partly cloudy. Groundhog still sleeping in his burrow under the ice and snow.

Good thing I'm not bothering with the Great Backyard Birdcount this year. Morning walk totaled a couple of ring-bill gulls, four crows, and one nuthatch heard but not seen. Not even any pigeons.
