Air temperature 10 F, wind northwest 14 mph gusting to 24 mph, partly cloudy. Windchill -6 F. Will probably go out for a walk in the teeth of this, because we have the technology.

Got out for that walk, 17 F and winds gusting to 35 mph. Equipment adequate to the task. Only birds fool enough to be out were crows.
