Air temperature 9 F, wind north about 15 mph, clear sky. Windchill -9 F. Managed to wrestle the trash bin out to the curb. Will have to relocate snow -- looks like about 2" now, after settling from yesterday's reported 4".
Red spots in the snow. In the past, this has meant that one of the neighborhood dogs has an injured pad, leaving bloody paw-prints. This morning, I was just shoveling bits of half-digested rowan berry.
