Air temperature 48 F, wind northwest about 18 mph, raining. So far, a lot of the storm is passing west of us. Recharge those aquifers!

Candidates in our US Senate race have received so much money that they are having trouble spending it. Multiple ads at every commercial break on TV, multiple mailings every day. I am coming to hate *all* of them.

Reports of 9" of snow up in the North Country. Not usual, but far from unique. Trick-or-treat costumes have included snowsuits, ere now.
