Wednesday floral report

White sweet clover has grown tall enough to flop over onto the shoulder of the road, forcing me further from the road edge. Other usual suspects blooming or going to seed. Haven't seen jewel-weed in the ditches yet.

Roadkill limited to a probable cat, in an area far enough from houses that it likely was a feral. Dark fur, anyway, either gray or black, and no white stripe.

Air temperature in the 70s F when I headed out, 81 now, light west wind. Rode across town and by the airport/base, mockingbird offering a few trills at my water stop but no visiting metal birds. Did not die.
